Our client was threatened with enforcement action for a barn that had been built contrary to the originally approved plans and for a different use. Bloomfields demonstrated that the barn had been located on site for sufficient length of time to justify its retention and subsequent immunity from enforcement. We provided the necessary Statutory Declarations to accompany the Certificate of Lawfulness application. The barn can now be lawfully retained on site.
