Bloomfields have successfully gained consent for the storage of four mobile homes for seasonal agricultural workers, when they are not in use. This consent provides agricultural workers accommodation on the farm and allows for the necessary infrastructure to be put in place so that the mobile homes do not need to be removed when they are not in use.
Having the security of staff members on site will allow the business to monitor their irrigation, fruit and weather changes at all times and provides on-site security. Having a number of mobile homes will allow the farmer to house seasonal pickers and workers throughout the year.
Bloomfields undertook a lengthy consultation with local residents to ensure that the proposed location of the mobile homes was satisfactory to them.
This consent will prevent the need for costly and impractical movement of mobile homes when they are not required during the winter months.
