Equestrian use secured for RSPCA fostering support

Bloomfields have successfully gained permission for the continued use of equestrian land adjacent to our client’s dwellinghouse for equestrian use. When our client purchased the land it had been used for the grazing of horses for over fifteen years. Our client wished to use the land to keep their own horses on and to provide foster relief for horses and ponies on behalf of the RSPCA.

Bloomfields liaised with the Council to establish that the use of the land for horse grazing had been undertaken for longer than the previous ten years and that formalising this would have no adverse impact upon the landscape and neighbouring amenity and was therefore acceptable in planning policy terms.

The application was approved, allowing our client to keep her horses on the land and provide the vital support to the RSPCA through their fostering scheme.
