We have considerable experience of successfully
negotiating a wide variety of applications on behalf of clients. Our
role includes the preparation, submission and monitoring of
applications and may also include the co-ordination of other
specialists such as architects and highway consultants. Our monitoring
role affords us the opportunity to negotiate with officers and
consultees. We also engage with elected Members and represent
applicants at committee meetings where appropriate.
Project Management
We are often called upon to act as the lead consultant and
oversee the project management of the planning application process on
behalf of clients. This role may include assembling a bespoke project
team, advising on the appropriate strategy for submission of an
application and co-ordination of the professional team, including
Architects, Solicitors, Highway Consultants, and Environmental
Specialists.
Design & Access Statements
Design and Access Statements are now a formal requirement
for most planning applications. At Bloomfields we have found the
preparation of a comprehensive and carefully reasoned statement is
often the key to achieving a planning permission without the need to
submit revised proposals or lodge an appeal.
Master Planning & Design
Good design and layout is often the key to securing a
successful planning permission whether it be for a single dwelling or a
large residential or commercial development. We work very closely with
architects and designers to achieve well designed and cost effective
design solutions for our clients.
