Whilst our preferred approach is to negotiate a planning
permission, this is not always possible and consequently it is
sometimes necessary to take an application to appeal. Our planning
skills and expertise allow us to provide an informed judgement to
clients on the prospects of success at appeal and the most appropriate
method (Public Inquiries, Hearings or Written Representations) having
regard to the nature of the application and its particular
circumstances. The method adopted in pursuing an appeal can depend on a
number of considerations including the complexity and nature of the
planning issues involved together with the funds available. At
Bloomfields we have experience of successfully pursuing appeals by all
three methods whether it is through appearing as an expert witness at a
public inquiry or the submission of a written representation.
