At Bloomfields we recognise that the quality of our work and the service we provide to our clients can only ever be as good as the people we employ.  Our team are therefore the key component of our business.  All of the planning team are Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute.  They have extensive experience of dealing with a variety of planning issues across a broad spectrum of urban and rural environments.  For a brief profile of each member of staff please click on the appropriate name

anna_bloomfield.jpgAnna has 30 years experience of working in the planning profession.  She started the practice in 1994, having worked in planning consultancy since 1986 and previously been employed for nine years by three Local Planning Authorities (two in the south east). Since 1994 she has been retained by two national General Aviation (GA) organisations as their Planning Co-ordinator and has advised parliamentary spokesmen on GA related planning matters.  Anna also acts for a wide range of clients mainly in the south east.  Her experience is wide ranging and embraces all aspects of residential, commercial and other development.  

Peter WallerPeter has 40 years planning experience. He joined Bloomfields in 2004 from Countryside Properties South Thames region, where he was Regional Planner covering an extensive area from Kent to Hampshire and Berkshire.  His initial career was spent working for four local authorities in London and Kent, concluding with nine years as Development Control Manager at Tunbridge Wells.  Peter has extensive experience in dealing with various types of applications, acting as expert witness at appeals and on enforcement matters.  Since joining Bloomfields he has specialised in housing and design issues for private individuals, housebuilders and local authorities.

   

Peter CooperPeter joined Bloomfields at the beginning of 2007 and has 20 years planning and property experience gained principally within the private sector.  Much of his career has been spent in London where he worked for a West End firm of chartered surveyors and an international architectural practice.  His extensive experience has encompassed a broad range of planning and property matters including working on several large scale commercial, residential and mixed development schemes, which have also involved the management of Environmental Impact Assessments.  More recently his experience has included providing strategic planning advice involving the promotion of sites through the local plan process and latterly advising clients on matters relating to the Local Development Frameworks.  This has included the preparation of representations in respect of Core Strategies and other Development Plan Documents.   

jane_court.jpgJane has brought an extensive technical planning knowledge and administrative skills to the company.  She provides support to the planners as well as performing an administrative role in the day to day running of the company.  Her 28 years experience has been gained from full and part time work in both local authorities at County and District level and private practice.  In 2002 she joined Anna to help set up Bloomfields and now continues her role as Company Secretary and Practice Manager.
